AMEON RACING….

Ameon Racing was founded in 2009 with a view to competing at various motorsport events throughout the UK and Europe.

During 2009 a lot of time was spent in developing the Ameon Racing Circuit Evo 7 so that it would qualify for various events and also so that it would be competitive against some of the professional and highly funded race teams.

During 2009 the AR-Evo 7 competed in ‘Ten Of The Best’ in order to see how it would fare against some of the UK’s other modified circuit cars. The AR-Evo 7 finished in a disappointing mid table position. Although the results were not acceptable it enabled the team to highlight some key weaknesses in the set up.

Throughout the winter of 2009 and 2010 the car went through a series of modifications and changes to the brakes, suspension and chassis prior to testing at the Nurburgring in the spring of 2010. The car had been transformed by the changes that had been made and was now ready to take on some of the country’s quickest circuit car in the UK Time attack series.

In 2010 Ameon Racing entered Time Attack as a “one hit wonder” at both Cadwell and Snetterton, achieving 3rd and 1st positions in Club Class.

Spurred on by this success the Evo 7 entered into the 2011 season, now in Club Pro Class.

The Ameon Racing Team had a disappointing season, bugged by technical difficulties and were unable to complete the series.
